GTCO Volts - Coaches
 

Victor was in collegiate cheer teams at the University of Cincinnati and Wright State University for 4 years. He has also been part of COA staff, as well as being involved in camps, clinics and competitions for school cheer teams. Victor first started at GTCO in 2004 as an all-star and tumbling coach and throughout the years he escalated up to his current position. In 2006 Victor was promoted to direct the GTCO All-Star Cheer Program.  Victor has earned a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics. He is former founder of Visual Capture, which offers graphic and web design, as well as branding and marketing. 

Position at GTCO: Program Director, Cheer and Tumbling Coach.  Victor is USASF credentialed.

 

 

Cassy began as a competitive gymnast at GTCO from her childhood all the way up to high school.  She then made a transition, cheering for the all-star cheerleading program at GTCO and her high school team.  After high school she became part of the Wright State University Co-Ed Cheer Team.  Cassy has coached gymnastics for seven years and all-star cheerleading for seven years.  During those years she instructed at YMCA, WSU Jr Raiders and GTCO.  Cassy obtained her Bachelors Degree in Childhood Education with a concentration in Math and Science at Wright State University, and a Masters Degree in Education at The University of Dayton. Currently she is a teacher at Summit Academy and teaches Math and Science to middle school students. 

Position at GTCO: Program Co-Director, Cheer and Tumbling Coach.  Cassy is USASF credentialed.

 

Lindsay became involved in Men's gymnastics at the age of eleven and competed all the way through his high senior year (ending his gymnastic careen in a level ten). He has judged men's gymnastics for five years and made the switch to coaching cheerleading four years ago. In addition to being an all-star cheer coach he also teaches tumbling classes, competitive girls and boys gymnastics, pre-school aged classes, private lessons, and advanced tumbling clinics. Lindsay recently obtained an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. 

Position at GTCO: Cheer and Tumbling Coach.  Lindsay is CPR certified and USASF credentialed.

 

 

Kimmy has been involved with cheerleading and gymnastics for 15 years.  In college, she was a member of The Ohio State All Girl Cheerleading Team for 4 years (she was the team Captain her last year).  Kimmy has taught numerous coaching, stunting, and tumbling camps and clinics for all levels of cheerleading with OSU All Girl.  Her gymnastics background includes optional gymnastics at GTCO, and Centerville High School Varsity Gymnastics, where she qualified individually and with her team for the State Tournament all 4 years.  Kimmy was also part of The Ohio State Club Gymnastics Team her first year of college.   She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology with an option in Family Financial Management at OSU.

Jamie began cheering at Waynesville schools and has been involved in cheerleading for the past fourteen years.  She cheered for the football and basketball teams and was a member of the competition squad.  After high school Jamie worked for the Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA) as a staff member.  During her time with UCA she taught stunt and cheer camps to girls ranging from pee wee to high school levels.  Jamie also worked competitions both at regional and national levels.  She is currently attending Wright State University earning a degree in Human Resources & Management.

Position at GTCO: Cheer and Tumbling Coach.  Jammie is ACCA certified.

 

 

Yoko began competing in tap, jazz, and hip hop styles at the age of fourteen. She also danced for Lakota West dance team her senior year at Lakota West High School where she got to experiance dancing a half time show with the Cleveland Cavaliers dance team as a Jr Cavalier girl.  She attended the University of Cincinnati where she danced for a collegiate dance team, the Bearcats. She currently attends Wright State University in pursuit of her degree, and still continues to dance.

Position at GTCO: Hip-Hop Coach.
