GTCO Volts Cheerleading, Inc.

(Non-profit booster organization)

Who are we? — The Executive Committee of GTCO Volts Cheerleading, Inc., wants to take a moment to welcome you and your family to our program. We are very excited to serve you in the upcoming year as we work together toward our common goal of funding for the GTCO Volts cheer program.

We are an independent, tax-exempt organization committed to GTCO Volts athletes. Our program is designed to relieve the financial burden of booster fees for GTCO cheerleading. Our focus is on the individual growth of your child, as well as the growth and unity of the team. We want to be easily accessible, knowledgeable, and informative. We are committed to maintain open lines of communication throughout the season.

We will deliver the best fundraising opportunities throughout the year, managing cheerleading booster funds in a cost effective manner to better serve you and your family. We promise to offer fundraising opportunities that provide the greatest benefit coupled with the least time commitment possible. We will be diligent in providing the maximum financial benefit to you, the consumer.

Scholarship Opportunities! — One critical mission of our booster organization is to make cheerleading financially feasible for any athlete who wishes to participate. That said, the costs of competitive cheerleading can add up quickly. In the event that your family finds itself in need of additional assistance, please request a private meeting with Victor Zamora, GTCO Volts Program Director. With you, he can go over the possibilities to receive support from our scholarship program. Those seeking eligibility must complete an Application and Terms of Agreement (attached) and receive a nomination from Victor Zamora. He will assign a number to the application (versus a name) and presents it to the Executive Committee for review and approval. At no time during the review and approval process will the committee know the name of the applicant. This ensures that selections are made fairly.

If approved, scholarship recipients will be required to participate in fundraising activities as designated by Kelly Hicks and also to comply with all other requirements associated with being a scholarship recipient (i.e. submission of grades, scholarship mentoring, conduct agreement, etc.).
